But fist fighting in Dark Souls II changes immediately when I bought a pair of Caestus from the merchant lady in Cardinal Tower. As soon as you can go into the dual wielding stance, things get real. First off, the scaling on Caestus weapons are A Strength and B Dexterity, which is the highest I've seen for a. Caestus is a Weapon in Dark Souls and Dark Souls Remastered. The weapon augments one's bare hands with thick, studded leather. The Caestus has a short reach, but quick cool down. Amount of damage inflicted is dependent on its wearer's strength.'
